董昱教授简介
Dr. Yu Dong is currently a senior lecturer and student plagiarism officer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Curtin University, Australia, which he joined in 2008 after being conferred with a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Dong has extensive research expertise in polymer nanocomposites, electrospun nanofibres, green composites, micromechanical modelling and design of experiments. He won the Best Paper Silver Award at the 5th Asian-Australasian Conference on Composite Materials (ACCM-5), Hong Kong, 2006. He is a Member of Editorial Boards for International Journal of Polymers and Technologies, Journal of Modern Applied Science and Journal of Applied Physics Research. He is the sole editor for newly published technical book entitled “Nanostructures: Properties, Production Methods and Applications” by Nova Science Publishers, USA, as well as a guest editor for the special issue “Advanced Composites with Natural Reinforcements” in Journal of Advanced in Materials Science and Engineering. Dr Dong is an external reviewer of General Research Fund Project for Hong Kong Research Grants Council. His scholarly teaching is well recognised by winning Curtin Pro Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence (Science and Engineering) and Excellence and Innovation in Teaching Award for Teaching Excellence. He also acted as an excellent technical mentor for the Curtin BHP Billiton Award winning team in Sustainable Design and Appropriate Technology Theme in 2009 Engineers Without Border (EWB) Challenges, Australia.
