报告摘要: This public seminar is a follow-up of the Speaker’s presentation in SIPCD2012. After a brief summary on the concept, feasibility, safety and prospect of nanomedicine, this presentation will be focused on the latest advances in nanomedicine, which may include (1) Molecular biomaterials for nanomedicine; (2) Nanomedicine for oral chemotherapy; (3) Nanomedicine for drug targeting; (4) Nanomedicine for multimodality treatment of cancer; (5) SiRNA based nanomedicine; (6) Nanomedicine for treatment of cancer stem cells; (7) Nanoimmunotherapy; (8) Nanomedicine for treatment of triple negative breast cancer; (9) Nanomedicine devoid of intracellular autophagy; (10) Nanomedicine for molecular imaging.
报告人简介：Prof FENG Si-Shen graduated with a 6-year diploma from Peking University. He obtained his Master Degree from Tsinghua University and PhD from Columbia University in 1988. He completed his postdoctoral training in Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons and then worked as a research scientist in Northwestern University. He joined National University of Singapore Sep 1996. He now holds a joint appointment of 75% with Dept of Chem & Biomol Eng and 25% with Dept of Bioeng. His research interests include cellular and molecular biomechanics, biomembranes, biomaterials,cancer nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine. Prof Feng is an Associated Editor of Biomaterials and Nanomedicine. He is also involved in the editorial board of other journals including Nanomedicine-NBM and Intl J Nanomedicineetc. He has been ranked by SCI Author Analysis as #1 in the three emerging areas of Nanomedicine, Cancer Nanotechnology and Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology respectively.
