Ilhyong Ryu教授简介：
Ilhyong Ryu is a professor of chemistry at Osaka Prefecture University in Japan. He received his PhD from Osaka University in Japan in 1978 under the supervision of Professor Noboru Sonoda and Shinji Murai. After serving as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow and a Research Associate at Osaka University, he was appointed Assistant Professor at Osaka University in 1988 and promoted to Associate Professor at Osaka University in 1995. He also had the experience of working with Professor Howard Alper (1991-1992) at the University of Ottawa in Canada as a Visiting Scientist. In 2000 he moved to Osaka Prefecture University as a Full Professor.
He has been the recipient of many awards including the Progress Award in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, Japan (1990) and the Chemical Society of Japan Award for Creative Work (2004), and ISOFT (International Symposium on Fluorous Technology) Award (2009).
His research area is wide and recent interests include development of new synthetic methodologies by radical reactions, green chemistry approaches to organic synthesis, and the use of flow micro reactors for efficiency in organic synthesis
