报告人简介：
Professor Chengzhong Yu is a Group Leader in the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), the University of Queensland. His research focuses on applied functional nano-materials for biotechnology, clean energy and environmental applications. He has published > 150 journal papers in leading international journals, such as Nature Materials, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Small, Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Chem. Mater.; Chem. Commun. These journal publications have been cited over 7000 times and resulted in an H-factor of 44.
He has attracted 4 DP (CI), 1 Future Fellowship and 2 LIEF grants from the Australian Research Council, 1 grant from the Cancer Council of Queensland (CCQ), 1 Queensland Research Partnership Project (RPP), and 12 grants from the National Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, and the State Key Research Program of China before he joined AIBN in 2010. He has received many national awards from both Australia and China, including the Australian research council Future Fellowship, the second prize of the National Science Award of China.
In this presentation, he will give an overview on the recent research activities in his lab. An introduction to the China Scholarship Council (CSC) funding scheme and the University of Queensland will be provided for the interest of research higher degree (RHD) students and young researchers.
