报告简介:
Supramolecular chemistry has evolved as an international focal point for the construction of novel, highperformance materials while maintaining selfhealing abilities, and stimulusresponsive behavior. However, the rapid expansion of knowledge and capabilities in supramolecular materials has not yet been paralleled by an expansion in analytical and characterization research. We developed ion mobilitymass spectrometry (IMMS) based method to address the characterization of these weakly bound (noncovalent) and highly dynamic supramolecules. IMMS is, in principle, able to separate based on mass,charge, and shape and thus, becomes an excellent tool in characterizing supramolecular macrocycles, 2D giant shapepersistent spoked wheel (>13 kDa), and 3D Platonic solids ( >18 kDa).
